The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the Office Attendant recruitment 2026, offering 572 vacancies across multiple offices in India. This recruitment is part of Panel Year 2025, with selection to be completed in 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online only through the official RBI website.
Selection will be done through a competitive online examination, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT) in the official language of the State/UT.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality
Applicants must be one of the following:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1 Jan 1962
- Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries
Note: Non-Indians must provide an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
2. Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2026)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 25 years
Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: 10–15 years depending on category
- Ex-Servicemen: as per service rules
- Widows/Divorced women: up to 35–40 years
3. Educational Qualification
- 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) pass from a recognized board.
- Must not be a graduate.
- Proficiency in the official language of the State/UT applied for is mandatory.
Selection Process
Stage 1: Online Test
- Total Questions: 120
- Total Marks: 120
- Duration: 90 minutes

⚠️ Negative marking: ¼ mark per wrong answer.
Stage 2: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates qualifying the online test must pass the LPT in the official/local language.
LPT is qualifying in nature.

- Gross Salary: Approx. ₹46,000/month (excluding HRA)
